Sarah is a globally-minded engineer and researcher committed to creating evidence-backed pathways to sustainable, inclusive growth in developing regions through human-centered methods. She recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in chemical engineering and peace studies. Sarah strongly advocates for solidarity and cross-disciplinary collaboration in problem-solving as she believes the best solutions emerge from a deep understanding of human wants, values, and needs.
Sarah has worked with academic institutions focused on international development including the Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development and the Innovations for Successful Societies program at Princeton University. In the future, Sarah hopes to provide sustainable solutions to humanitarian and environmental challenges through business ventures rooted in empathy. In her next role, Sarah hopes to support the translation of research into hands-on projects with visible impact and explore development beyond the lens of academia.
Sarah enjoys skiing, spending time with friends and family, and baking. She is an avid reader of new and exciting material. Sarah also loves exploring the history and beauty of the world and hopes to achieve 30 by 30 (30 countries by age 30).
