This project supports the Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development’s (NDIGD) work to reduce water-borne illness in Arcabuco, Colombia. After uncovering that most water sources were clean, the NDIGD team discovered the contamination by e. Coli and other microorganisms during water storage. To increase cleaning of rooftop water storage containers, NDIGD requested the development of a behavior change framework to apply in this context.
